Denis Plutalov is an award-winning internationally recognized Russian-born pianist, who in 2002 came to the United States to continue his musical education. In 2001, Denis received his Bachelor's degree from the Russian Gnessins Academy of Music. In 2004 & 2005 he received his Master's degree and a Professional Artist certificate from theNorth Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC. Currently Denis Plutalov is a DMA candidate at theUniveristy of Nebraska-Lincoln School of Music, where he studies with Prof. Dr. Mark Clinton

Denis Plutalov is one of the few world pianists, playing all the Twenty-Four Preludes and Fugues of Dmitry Shostakovich. His concert appearances include Russia, Europe and the United States.
